- Species names: Tyrannosaurs Rex, Brachiosaurus, Allosaurus, Triceratops, Pachycephalosaurus, Deionychus, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, Apatosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Dilophasaurus, Corythosaurus, Stygimoloch, Troodon.
- She knows whether all of the above species were carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores.
- She knows that T-Rex had only two fingers on its "hands," while Allosaurus, Velociraptor, and the other bipedal dinos had three.
- She knows that Stygimoloch had five horns on its head, and Triceratops had three.
We've had to keep pace with the details that she's accumulating on the topic, and it has not been as easy as one would think. Much of this is in thanks to a cool PBS show called Dinosaur Train, which we can watch thanks to our TV antenna.
That's all for now. :)

Harper's latest obsession is cooking. I know Maia's been doing that for awhile, but it's a hoot to have her focus so long on creating something wonderful. Last night she and I made whole wheat biscuits.
Maia's definitely got the catergorizing thing down. I hope she keeps her self-esteem up but her hubris at a normal level: that's our continuing struggle with Ms. E
I'd also add that she is getting good at figuring out if the dino eats meat or veggies based on the teeth and paws of said dino.
Her favorite dino seems to toggle between T-Rex and Pteranadon.
She said today that her favorite is Parasaurolophus. I still can't get over the sound of her little voice coming from the back seat of the car saying "Parasaurolophus." :)
