| From Early January |
Maia knocks quietly on the bedroom door at about 6:15 AM to come in and crawl under the covers for a morning snuggle. Her legs feel almost as long as my own, and her knees are bony and seem to be everywhere at once.
When Eli lets a toot rip, he laughs his "heh heh heh" first, and then says "Eeeewwwww."
Eli likes to give fist bumps (AKA Fox News Terrorist Fist Jabs) and he makes the noise of a little bomb exploding right after the bump.
Maia's daily winter hat is her Totoro hat from her birthday last year. She un-self-consciously walks around with Totoro's goofy face on her head, his ears bobbing with each step.
Eli loves wearing boots. He has the words for both "boot" and "shoe," and says "boooot!!!!" with much more enthusiasm when it comes to our daily footwear selection time.
Maia and Brian are mere pages away from the re-embodiment of Voldemort at the end of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Oh, how her imaginative Wizarding World is about to change! We're both wondering how she's going to handle the big moment.
