From Mid November

I just put up four new pictures of Maia heading upstairs (really--she takes the stairs on her own, now) and then hanging out on her changing table before bed. She's drifting off to dreamland now, if the silence upstairs is any indication.

A new one for today: Maia now knows how to clap! It's become clear that she's able to mimic any little thing that I do, so I decided to give clapping a try this afternoon. Piece of cake! She sometimes claps an open hand to a fist, but hey, it works!

We took a walk around Gallup Park this afternoon, too. Maia rode in her stroller this time, rather than in the back carrier. My goal was to walk at a pretty quick pace, so the stroller was a good option for that. Maia's 20+ lbs. on my back will be an added challenge for an afternoon of exercise . . . one that I haven't worked my way up to yet!
