Visit with the midwife

All is well. :) This update will be brief, because there isn't a ton to cover. Things are very routine, just as I'd like them to remain.

• Baby's heart rate looks great at about 150 BPM. Maia went to the appointment with me and our midwife let her manage the Doppler unit, which was cool. She needed a little bit of direction to find the strongest beat, but when she found it, she said "Hey, that's baby!"
  
• I declined to do the glucose screen for gestational diabetes. Not this time around.
• I'm going back in four weeks now instead of six, at which point I'll be about 28-29 weeks? Something like that?
  
• Our midwife gave Maia a few items to add to her medical kit: examination gloves, cotton balls, and a tongue depressor. Excellent!
