I took the opportunity to use the evening sunlight coming in Maia's bedroom window to take some photos of her while she was playing on her mat on the floor. In my humble opinion, these photos represent the nuances and subtle changes in her face that I see on a daily basis, as well as those brilliant, beautiful smiles!
Maia took a very long afternoon nap today, which was a welcome surprise because last night was a bit more restless than normal. I still got plenty of sleep considering there's a 10-week old baby in the house, but she was up a bit more frequently than we've become accustomed to.

What a cutie. I love that expression on her face: she seems totally enthralled in... something! If only we all could have that fascinated, enchanted look on our faces more often (although I have no doubt she puts it on yours).
