Conversations with Maia

"Maia, would you like some dinner?"

"Yes, Please"

"What would you like to eat?"

"Enchilada, Please!"

"Ok"

Some time passes, and she finishes most of her serving and says:

"More enchilada, Please!"

"OK, but can you finish the rest?"

"Ok"

I get her some more enchilada.

"Cut the chicken"
I cut the chicken
"Dada eat some. Nom, Nom, Nom"

After she finishes that, I ask:

"Maia, would you like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?"

"Yes! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, YUM!"
"Do you want some milk with that?"
"Yes! In the Sparty cup!" (her MSU cup)
"Here you go"
"Mmmmmm. So Good!"

She finishes the sandwich and says:

"How about some yogurt?"

I get her some yogurt and she eats it. She finishes and says:

"More yogurt, please!"

I get her some more and she eats it too:

"All done. Mona, get away! Mona, stop eating the wipe!"

Sure enough, Mona was licking the yogurt off of a wipe that I hadn't noticed.

In addition to eating a HUGE meal, Maia is really talking! Tons of fun.
