I had to teach tonight, and Brian is in Ohio for a three-day conference, so Nana Dawn drove here this afternoon to hang out with Maia while I was working. As is often the case in their evenings together, Nana gave Maia a bath, and here's the conversation that ensued:
Maia, on her belly in the tub: "Maia is swimming in the pool!"
Nana: "Do you go swimming with Dada at the pool?"
Maia: "No, Nana! Dada's in Ohio!" (Spoken with a very "Duh!" tone of voice.)
