Hey Maia watchers! We had our six-month appointment at the pediatrician today, and here are the stats:
Weight: 17 lbs, 2.5 oz
Length: 27 in
Head circ: 44.5 cm
For a girl of her age, those first two stats put her in approximately the 75th percentile, while the third is about the 95th! Maia has a gynormous head to fit her humongous brain!!! :)
Maia also had her last round of immunizations for a while, thank goodness. Those are no fun at all for any of us . . . least of all for her, of course. And, as expected, our pediatrician talked about solid foods, which we'll probably be experimenting with a bit in the next couple of weeks.
That's the short version of the appointment, the statistical breakdown of a very easygoing, routine doctor's visit. All is going well, and we're about to head out to go downtown. Later!
