Maia crawled this morning! She didn't go very far (only a couple of feet), but she definitely crawled herself forward without touching her belly on the ground. Yay!!
Also, yesterday I think she made the sign for "milk" for the first time. We've been doing baby signs with her for months--only a few, like "milk" and "eat" and "more"--but yesterday morning I think she made a sign herself for the first time. The "milk" sign involves opening and closing your hand into a fist, and while she was nursing yesterday she held her left hand into a little fist and kept looking at it. It was very deliberate and not a normal thing for her to do. Hmmmm . . .
