Photo update

Hey again everyone. Just a short post to let you know that we've added some more pictures to the usual site. Take a look at the new pics here. They're in the "Late September 07" album.

Maia had her first full meal with us today, which was an occasion to celebrate! We made a pasta dish with zucchini, carrot, chicken, and wheat rotini. After chopping the mixture up into smaller pieces, we gave Maia bits of everything to try. She ate everything, although the texture seemed to confuse her a bit at first. Also, it's been rare for her to eat solids that are as warm as tonight's dinner, which might have added to the initial confusion.

Also included in the newest album are photos of Maia's most recent visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Hecker in East Lansing, and some pictures of her selecting some reading material from our bookshelf. Her favorites that day were Fahrenheit 451 and the Oedipus plays by Sophocles. :)
