Hi everyone,
Sorry for the quiet blog these last few days. There just hasn't been much to add. My next appointment with the doctor is next week, at which point I'll start going every week after that. The baby continues to move around a lot, which, as I've said before, is a very cool feeling indeed. There's a lot of mass behind those kicks and squirms now, so it's impossible to ignore them, even in the middle of the night.
Grandma and Grandpa G. sent the baby the swing that we registered for, which was a wonderful and much appreciated surprise.
I'm looking ahead to what will probably be my last few days of work. I have a substitute job planned for Thursday, but, other than that my calendar is clear. It is very hard to predict when I'll have a (physically) good day and when I'll have a lousy one, so I think that it might be appropriate to end my substitute teaching career for now.
With the end of subbing comes some significant time to complete my classwork for the two courses I'm taking at Eastern Mich. this semester. The term officially ends on the baby's due date (Dec. 21), so I think it might be very wise indeed to try to get some of the reading and papers done ahead of time.
I'll be at 37 weeks in two days--that's full term! Any time now, baby! :)
