Our Jeweler knows some skills we don't. By stretching the skin on Cara's finger and working slowly, he was able to get the ring off without cutting it. Apparently, a lifetime of experience trumps some web searches, a few meters of dental floss and a squirt of hand lotion any day. Go Figure!
So Cara picked out a nice chain to hang the ring on for the next few months. She is out tonight, bowling with some friends of hers that she worked with a few years back. Tomorrow is the big UofM/Ohio game. Although I can care less about it, it is apparently a pretty big thing. So we are going over to Lesley and Rob's place to watch it (which I care a lot more about... good people, they are). I am wondering what Cara and Lesley will bet for this time. We owed them dinner from last time :)
