I was feeding Maia a (veggie) hot dog last night for dinner for the first time. She started asking for it by the name "Mamo" which is her name for "Mona" who (for those who don't know) is our dog. I loved the leap that her brain made... though I must assume she hasn't made the connection to what it actually means to be eating Mona.
I got a kick out of it.
