Slide, Eat, Blue (she's starting to learn her colors!), Pants, Fry (a favorite food, despite our efforts to the contrary).
Brian and I realized today that we're getting to the point where we're not able to keep track of Maia's words unless we write them down. So, I know that these posts probably aren't particularly interesting to read; they're more for the purpose of recording things just for the sake of it. I'll probably cease and desist with these kinds of "new words today" posts pretty soon here, because we're just not really able to recall them all anymore. Talk about a language explosion! :)
A moment at the park this morning: Maia was playing with a one-year-old girl who also knows some "words" through sign language. The other little girl signed "help" to her Mama, which looks similar to the sign for "coat." Maia watched the exchange between Mama and baby, and signed "coat" in return. It was almost like she was trying to say "Hey, I know what you're talking about!"

You know, I'd be a lot more perturbed if fries were not one of Maia's favorite foods... I'd worry that something was wrong with her taste buds, or something.
