Today marks the beginning of our 42nd week. It has been a long haul, but the end is near... I PROMISE!
Cara has been feeling contractions on and off, but nothing that has stuck. We go to the doctor again today, to see where we are at. If the baby is not here by Tuesday (Jan 2nd) night, Cara needs to be induced, for it will have been too long to wait from a medical perspective. We are still optimistic that our baby will come on its own, but January 2nd is our contingency plan.

You probably know that there are a lot of things you can do to naturally start labor.. Here is a website that discusses some of them. I could discuss many of these at length - - but you probably are aware of many on your own. Try a couple or all of them! You might help get something going. Good luck! I am sure everything will work out fine.
